Gosh I can’t believe I’m up to the big 100 already. I suppose I have been blogging for a bit and man am I glad I found blogging. Not only is a great way to share my creations and get feedback, I feel like I have been lucky enough to meet some lovely ladies virtually  through this and some of the forums. It’s such a great hobby and blogging let’s you connect with people from all over the place! It’s fantastic.

So to all you lovely ladies that read my blog but haven’t yet made a comment or even to those others who are always showing their support, I want to say a huge thank you!

As a wee thanks I will randomly pick some one that leaves a comment on my blog by Monday 7th April and post them a RAK (random act of kindness)

The other post was getting to long so I thought I would share my latest creations in another post.

Firstly have you seen these AWESOME clear stamps from Fancy Pants? Craig was very generous the other day and got me a set of them. I’m totally loving their new ranges of papers and transparencies, also Crate Paper’s new ranges are fabulous too. I’m lucky enough to be going to an all day crop with friends on Thursday so will be able to have a play with them all.

To start the sharing here are some cards I’ve whipped up lately.

On this card the stripe paper is actually on the inside and I added some transparency to the outside so it would show through.

I used my new cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder on the happy birthday card. Did I mention I love my cuttlebug! :)

This is the wedding card I made to match the album I made as part of the wedding gift.

Then these are some layouts I worked on at the cyber crop on at Scrapbook Essentials a few weeks back. I also entered the treasure hunt where you had clues and had to find the products in the shop. I won some very cool Tim Holtz Grungeboard for this competition, can’t wait to have a play with it.

Finally here is the album I made for our friend’s wedding gift, I’m so glad I made it because I got SOOO many comments about it. The bride and groom loved it so much they were in tears when they got it. It’s so lovely that this great hobby brings can bring so much joy to people. They told me that they will treasure it forever.

What a busy week….

March30

I think my goal of blogging the everyday things didn’t go to well but I’m not giving up just yet, so to my very loyal blog readers I will try harder :)

To keep everyone up to date we have just made 23 weeks and all is good with bubs. Craig met our midwife the other day and they had a great chat about gadgets. I can see I will be fighting to get a word in at the birth hehe :)  My belly is starting to pop out and I’m getting used to people touching my bump hehe It’s wonderful the conversations you have when you tell people your expecting, I’ve heard all sorts of stories over the past few days. :) Bubs is moving a little bit but I’m really only feeling little flutters at the moment, it’s starting to get even more exciting as time goes by.

We had a pretty cruisy Easter. We had a BBQ picnic on Good Friday with some friends and pottered about home over the long weekend. I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter and didn’t indulge in too much chocolate. We don’t really love chocolate in our household but did have one or two or even three hot cross buns! :)

During the past week it has felt like we’ve been flat out! We’ve had all sorts of things going on. My Father’s birthday, wedding duties and functions, work stocktaking and a friend’s birthday dinner too. I love to be social but it will be nice to just be lazy for a few evenings and watch tv! hehe

With the long weekend and the wedding stuff Craig decided to take the whole week off so it has been great to have him home. I know this sounds soppy but I’m going to miss the company when he goes back to work tomorrow, it’s much more fun being on holiday together! :) Mind you I know have all sorts of things to catch up on now that the holiday is over.

As I mentioned our very good friends tied the knot on Friday and Craig was the best man. It was a wonderful wedding and we both had a fantastic time. They truly make a beautiful couple. Here a just a few pictures to share.

New Year and New Blog!

January26

I know I have been the slackest blogger over the past few months, but there is a good reason which I will get too.

First a  wee catch up, I hope everyone had a happy and safe Christmas and that your New year is starting off with a bang! Our Christmas was spread over a few days, firstly a family lunch with Craig’s family on the Saturday which was great. Then a big Christmas BBQ with our family and friends, a combined effort between my sister and I. Was a fun evening and was great to catch up with everyone before they all headed off on there own holidays etc. Lastly we had our Christmas day with my family, it was a beautiful day and we shared a BBQ lunch and much laughter. I had to share these pictures of my Mum’s decorations, I love the Santa feet coming out of the chimney! We did decorate our tree etc. but I completely forgot to take a picture.Oops!

After Christmas we headed away to Kaiteriteri for a several night, Craig grew up camping there as a child and we had stayed on his parents campsite a few times but this year was our first time with our own tent and site etc. I must say I surprised myself at how much I enjoyed it (except of course the putting up and taking down of the camping gear!), I am sure it will be a continued tradition.
